LEARN OVER LUNCH

Go ahead and save the date and make your reservation to attend the "Learn Over Lunch"! Space is limited so don't delay. This is FREE for Chamber members and their employees! Bring your lunch and join us from Noon to 1pm at the Shelby County Cooperative Extension Office, 1117 Frankfort Road, Shelbyville, our Host Sponsor for the year. March's topic is "Creating a Disaster Plan for Your Business", presented by Angela Roberts with the American Red Cross - Shelby County.

MANDATORY Labor Law Poster

The National Labor Relations Board has issued a final ruling today, requiring private sector employers to post a notice informing employees of their rights under the NLRB Act. All employers must post this notice by APRIL 30TH, 2012.

Chamber Member Spotlight

This new program is a partnership with WXLN 93.3. The Chamber Member Spotlight will feature one Chamber business each week with a 90-second spot. Each week, the chamber will randomly select a member business who has asked to be included in this promotion. A representative from the radio station will contact the business a week ahead of time to record an audio clip. The spot will be played on the radio during the week as part of the Chamber Member Spotlight.

New Neighbor Kit

The New Neighbor Kit contains general relocation information about Shelby County, and for $100 annually Chamber members can include marketing materials. We mail them to individuals and businesses requesting relocation information, give them to new residents who have moved into the community, distribute them to member real estate agencies and others who want more information about Shelby County. For more information contact the Chamber office.

New Marketing Opportunities

The Chamber is now offering several new marketing opportunities to its members. Website sponsorships are available on the Chamber website for $100 annually (limited to 25). You can add your logo and a map to your directory listing for only $15 annually. Sponsor the monthly email update for $25 each month (limited to 2 sponsors per month).
