The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a community meeting with Joe Knilans, Rural Affairs Advocate with the Office of Advocacy/Small Business Administration. The Office of Advocacy is the voice of small business into the federal government and is seeking input from small business owners in Kentucky. Mr. Knilans will be visiting Shelbyville on Thursday, August 2 and is eager to meet with small business owners.
The community meeting will take place at the Stratton Center at 4:00 p.m. Small business owners are invited to share their concerns with government regulations that are over-burdensome and share their thoughts for how such regulations might be changed. The event is free, but registration is appreciated.
