Forum to Address Disability Employment Practices

As part of the 19th Annual National ASPE Conference being hosted in Louisville July 9 - 11, you are invited to attend an employer forum.
Individuals with disabilities have become a natural resource of solid employees for businesses across the country. The Employer Forum features nationally recognized leaders in disability employment practices who will address issues such as:
The latest in diversity research as well as national and local cutting edge trends in workplace diversity;
Strategies for successful recruitment and retention;
Hints for where to find support for you and your employees;
Information to help you ensure the Americans with Disabilities Act works for you .
Featured speakers include Dr. Shirley Davis, Director of Diversity Initiatives with SHRM and Kay Mathis, Vice President ADA Technology for Citigroup.

AFB Mare-A-Thon 5K Run/Walk

Join us in this 5K Run/Walk, part of the Shelbyville Horse Show and Jubilee. This event benefits the Shelby Center for Disability Services. All proceeds help us provide job training, employment and independent living skills training to adults with disabilities.
